About Reservations
Reservations
Due to COVID-19, Montgomery County Recreation pools are operating with new safety restrictions. At this time, pools are open to Montgomery County residents and pool pass holders only. While reservations are no longer required, they are encouraged as residents with reservations will have priority admission. The number of available walkup daily admission slots will depend on the number of reservations and pool capacity.
- Reservations are highly encouraged and on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Reservations are available exactly eight days in advance of the date and time of the specific session. (i.e. Sessions that begin at 6 a.m. will open for reservations at 6 a.m. eight days in advance.)
- Pool passes will be available for in-person purchase by Montgomery County residents only. Residents must provide proof of County residency at the time of purchase. Online pool pass sales have been suspended indefinitely.

Pool Passes & Daily Admission
Pool Passes
Pool passes are available for in-person purchase by Montgomery County residents only. Residents must provide proof of County residency at the time of purchase. Online pool pass sales have been suspended indefinitely.
- Pool passes can be purchased at any indoor facility from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Outdoor facilities have varying schedules which can be seen on our website.
Walkup Daily Admissions
Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
- Walkup daily admission is for Montgomery County residents only.
- All adults 18 and over must provide proof of County residency at the time of entry.
- Only household groups will be admitted together.
- At the time of entry, patrons must complete a contact form including the names of all household members, phone number and address. This information will only be used by county health officials should it be necessary.
- The number of walkup daily admission slots available will depend on the number of reservations and pool capacity.
Walkup daily admission rates for county residents are:
- $7 for adults
- $6 for seniors 55 and over
- $5 for children 17 and under
Indoor Pools
Reservations are encouraged and on a first-come, first served basis. When making a reservation please ensure that the swim session you choose allows the activity you would like to perform:
- Lap Swim: One person per lane. Two members of a househould may share a lane. Continuous swimming.
- Deep Water Running: Open space for exercise in deep water. Body must remain vertical in water. Lap swimming not permitted.
- Open Rec Area: Shallow water available for general use. Lap swimming not permitted.
- Rec Swim: Available for general use. Diving boards, slides and the leisure pool are open. Lap lanes available on a first come, first served basis.
Indoor Pool Hours
Montgomery County Recreation aquatic facilities will be closed on November 25, 26, December 24, 25, 31, 2020 and January 1, 2021.
Monday-Friday
6 a.m.-10 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday
7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Outdoor Pools
Outdoor pools have closed for the 2020 season. Pool hours and schedules for 2021 Season will be available on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
COVID-19 Phase 2 Safety Procedures
For Indoor Pools
- All patrons two years old and over must use a face covering while on the pool deck, in common areas, and when social distancing is not possible.
- Face coverings are not required when in the water.
- Individuals and family groups are asked to stay together and maintain six feet of social distancing from other groups at all times.
- Pool features including crossing features, saunas and hot tubs will remain closed.
- Fitness rooms in aquatic centers will remain closed.
- Shared equipment such as kickboards will not be available.
- Restrooms in locker rooms will be available. We ask patrons to minimize their time in those areas by coming to the pool in their swim attire and showering at home. Marked alternate exits will be available for those who wish to avoid exiting through the locker room. Lockers will not be available for use. Patrons will have to take their belongings with them on the pool deck and place them in a chair assigned to the lap lane they are using.
For Outdoor Pools
- All patrons two years old and over must use a face covering while on the pool deck, in common areas, and when social distancing is not possible. Face coverings are not required when in the water.
- Individuals and family groups are asked to stay together and maintain six feet of social distancing from other groups at all times.
- Pool features including crossing features and the lazy river will remain closed.
- All wading pools—also known as baby pools or tot pools—will remain closed.
- Slides and diving boards will be available for use.
- Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
- Shared equipment such as kickboards will not be available.
- Restrooms in bath houses will be available. We ask patrons to minimize their time in those areas by coming to the pool in their swim attire and showering at home. Marked alternate exits will be available for those who wish to avoid exiting through the bath house.
