Transportation Management District Advisory Committee
The Silver Spring Transportation Management District (TMD) was created in 1987 to improve transportation capacity, promote traffic safety and pedestrian access, and help reduce vehicular emissions, energy consumption, noise levels and overall demand for roads. An Advisory Committee of business, community and government leaders was also established to garner the advice and counsel of people who live, work and do business in the TMD.   more...
