Virtual Kickoff on June 18: 

online meeting View a recording of the virtual town hall where County Executive Marc Elrich, County Council Vice President Tom Hucker, and Vision Zero Coordinator Wade Holland provided updates on the Vision Zero program, gave an overview of the next steps for creating the 10-year strategy, and responded to audience questions.

10-Year Plan Development Timeline

  • June 2020 – August 2020

    Phase I: Collect community feedback, gather data, and research leading practices

  • September 2020 – January 2021

    Phase II: Workgroups meet to develop the strategies and action items

  • Develop first draft of 10-year strategy and 2-year action plan

  • March 2021 – May 2021

    Phase III: Collect community feedback on the draft strategy

  • Publish the Vision Zero 10-year strategy and 2-year action plan
