Water Outreach & Education Programs

There are steps we can all take to improve our water quality and keep our streams healthy. To help accomplish this, Montgomery County:

• Develops public outreach and stewardship strategies and programs to engage and educate citizens and visitors

• Works with non-profit organizations, homeowner associations, schools and businesses to help them reduce runoff and water pollution with an individual and community focus.

• Uses simple and innovative actions to foster sustainable behavior changes that help to improve our County’s water quality.
