The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has started a project to design and construct a pedestrian bridge over a tributary to the Northwest Branch Anacostia River. Connecting the walking paths between Auth Lane and Kersey Road, the bridge will enhance pedestrian safety of the traveling public.
The Auth Lane Pedestrian Bridge project is currently in the beginning stages of design.
A public information meeting was held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 to present the project details and a design concept as well as obtain community input and answer questions.
The County welcomes your feedback. Public input adds to the success of any public infrastructure project as it allows the County to understand the concerns of the community. Your input is important!
