The Family Support Network

The Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers Program's (MCITP) Family Support Network (FSN) helps families with children who have special needs to access resources and services to achieve the best possible outcomes for each child and family.

The Family Support Network works to:

  • Increase the involvement of parents and guardians in the early intervention and special education decision-making process.

  • Develop collaborative relationships between Family Support Network and MCITPS staff, families, and community members by providing information and training.

  • Connect parents and children to local resources and agencies who can help them.

  • Establish supportive networks among parents in local communities.

  • Provide information about disabilities and school system resources.

  • Help families resolve concerns and make informed decisions about their child's education.
