The Working Parents Assistance Program
Effective Date: Monday, September 9, 2024 Due to limited funding availability, the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services will be implementing a waitlist for the Working Parents Assistance Program. This waitlist will apply only to new applications for children aged 6 years and older. Montgomery County’s Working Parents Assistance (WPA) Program is a County-sponsored program that is committed to helping eligible County residents pay for child care. While parents are at work or school, they can feel confident that their children are in a safe and caring environment.
