Building a Strong and Vibrant Economy Through Diversity.

The program encourages MFD participation by conducting outreach activities and workshops and providing a forum for businesses to explore individual and joint contracting opportunities.

* The definition of Montgomery County’s MFD business is a business that is at least 51% owned, controlled and managed daily by a minority person(s) as defined by county code and regulations to include the following categories: African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, Native American, Disabled Persons, and Women. Certifications of any other groups that are outside of these categories will not be accepted.
