Private Insurance

    • If you live in Maryland and are a U.S. citizen, or have certain types of immigration status, you may be able to enroll in a private health insurance plan. Financial help may be available. Visit the Maryland Health Connection website, or call the number above, to see if you qualify and for help enrolling.

Programs for Low-Income Residents

  • Medicaid
    • Children and pregnant women who are enrolled in Medicaid or the Maryland Children’s Health Program may receive free dental services.   • Montgomery County Dental Services
    • Provides general dental care to low-income and uninsured/underinsured Montgomery County residents. Does not require immigration status.
  • Care For Kids: (301) 628-3450 
    • County health program for low-income children who do not qualify for other insurance. Does not require immigration status.
  • CCI Health Services: (866) 877-7258
    • Offers dental services to all ages out of 3 locations (Gaithersburg, Greenbelt, and Silver Spring). Patients who do not have insurance can apply for a discount based on income.
  • Mary's Center: (844) 796-2797
    • Dental services for children, adults and seniors. Patients who don’t have health insurance will get help applying for public benefits or will receive care at a discount.
  • Catholic Charities Dental Clinic
    • Provides affordable dental services to low-income, uninsured patients. 3 locations in the DMV area.
  • University of Maryland School of Dentistry- Clinical Services: (410) 706-7101
    • Comprehensive dental services provided by dental students, under the supervision of faculty dentists.  Fees are typically lower than private dental practices.  Appointments will take significantly longer than at a private dental practice. Clinical services include general dentistry, emergency dental care, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and more. Most clinic services are located in Baltimore, except for:

    • Comprehensive dental services provided by dental students, under the supervision of faculty dentists.  Clinical services include general dentistry, emergency dental care, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and more.
