Take10 Montgomery

A Community-based Lifesaving Training In Bystander CPR
What is it?
The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service wants to equip the public with the skill and confidence to perform hands-only CPR by providing quick, 10-minute training sessions covering three critical steps:
- Checking for signs of life
- Calling 911
- Performing chest compressions
This initiative has the potential to create a community of confident and prepared bystanders ready to take action in cardiac emergencies. To do this we will:
- Offer free 10-minute hands-on CPR training at public/private events, schools, workplaces, community centers, and churches.
- Utilize trained career/volunteers, EMTs, firefighters and medical personnel as instructors.
- Ensure training is engaging, interactive, and easy to remember.
Note: This training is non-certifying and is intended for education purposes only.
