Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program

EV

Montgomery County's Divison of Parking Managment is excited to further Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations in our facilities.

With forty-eight (48) Chargepoint ports and sixteen (16) Pepco ports, there's a total of 64 ports at parking facilities in downtown Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton. The charging stations are provided by Chargepoint and Pepco.

Drivers can initiate a session by creating a ChargePoint and/or Pepco account, through the use of a credit card, or by calling the number displayed on the station.

There is a 4-hour time limit for parking in EV charging spaces and vehicles are required to be plugged in and charging while parked.

See the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Overview Plan for further details on the implementation of these stations.
