Housing Code Inspector III

Grade 16/19/21/23


Please note: The salary range above represents this position’s earning potential.
The anticipated hiring range for this position will be as follow based on candidate’s qualifications and experience:

 

  • Public Administrator Associate, Grade 16 - $57,596 to $73,873. 
  • Housing Code Inspector I, Grade 19 – $64,942 to $77,497. 
  • Housing Code Inspector II, Grade 21 – $70,556 to $98,001. 
  • Housing Code Inspector III, Grade 23 - $76,742 - $119,119
This position may be underfilled as a  Public Administrator Associate, Grade 16, or a Housing Code Inspector I, Grade 19, or a Housing Code Inspector II, Grade 21 . Once the employee is at full performance and meets the minimum requirements of the Proficiency Advancement process, they are eligible for the non-competitive promotion through the series to the  Housing Code Inspector III Grade 23.


Program Manager I (Public Affairs and Community Engagement Coordinator), Grade N2

The Program Manager I plays a key role supporting DHCA’s engagement with the public by conducting community outreach, responding to Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) requests, and coordinating communications activities such as website and social media updates. The position sits in the DHCA Director’s Office and reports to the Public and Legislative Affairs Manager (Program Manager II).
