Renew Rental License and COC Registration

All Rental Housing Licenses and Common Ownership Community (COC) Registrations are valid for one (1) year (July 1st - June 30th) and must be renewed annually. Renewal fees are due no later than July 31st of the current year. Fees are not pro-rated for a partial rental or registration year.

On July 1st of the New Registration Year:

  • Renewal Invoices for licensed rental properties and registered Common Ownership Communities (COC) are mailed to Administrative Agents (if assigned) or Primary Contacts.
    • The property owner, COC or Administrative Agent is responsible for updating their Licensing and Registration (L&R) record with any changes in address or contact information within 10 days of the change.
    • Failure to receive an invoice does not relieve the owner or agent from paying the renewal fee by the July 31st deadline.
  • Renewal Payments can be made online with credit cards or eCheck to online Rental License Record (requires AccessMCG account).
  • Renewal Payments with check or money order can be mailed.
  • Renewal Payments will not be processed before July 1st of the new registration year.
