This project, located in Silver Spring, Maryland, is for the addition of a secure bicycle storage facility within an existing parking garage at Dixon Avenue and Bonifant Street, adjacent to the existing stairs and elevator. Work includes demolition of the existing concrete slab and installation of a new level slab and ramp, installation of security fencing, a bicycle self-repair station, bicycle storage racks, signage and new lighting.
The work also includes maintenance of vehicle and pedestrian traffic along Dixon Avenue and Bonifant Street.
The project’s Notice to Proceed has been issued. The Contractor, Atlantida Builders, Inc., proposes to commence construction late Winter / early Spring 2026. The project is slated for completion in the Fall of 2026, weather permitting.
