The Sidewalk Program will soon be launching an interactive map on which residents can search and draw their requested sidewalk, add a point to request an ADA ramp, check status on or support a previously requested installation. We are working hard to make things easier and more transparent and cannot wait to share this new interactive tool with you!
Part of Montgomery County’s ongoing Pedestrian Safety Program, the Annual Sidewalk Program is set up to retro-fit sidewalks on roadways where none have previously existed. The projects under the Annual Sidewalk Program are derived from resident requests. To request sidewalk installation, please complete and submit the Sidewalk Installation Request Form, a link to which is provided below.
