      • Represents migrant and seasonal workers in the agricultural fields, packing houses, nurseries and food processing plants in Maryland and Delaware on employment-related matters.
  • Women’s Law Center Employment hotline: 877-422-9500 (Tuesdays 9:30am – 1pm; First Thursday of the month 5pm–7:30pm)
    • Answers questions from women and men about a wide range of employment law issues (however, main focus is on issues impacting women). Does not provide individual representation.
  • Maryland Court Help Center: Call or chat: 410-260-1392 (from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.), or  Visit in-person
    • Provides help with civil matters if you do not have a lawyer and are representing yourself.
  • Public Justice Center: 410-625-9409
    • Call if you have questions about your pay and whether your employer may owe you money. Answers questions free of charge regarding overtime pay, minimum wage, and other workers’ rights questions.
  • Bar Foundation of Montgomery County’s Pro Bono Program- 301-424-7651
    • Call Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to see if you are eligible for free legal services from a volunteer attorney.
    • Handles limited employment cases (wage claims).
  • Montgomery County Commission for Women
    • Has created helpful publications regarding employment law topics (in English, Spanish and French), including employment rights for domestic workers and pregnant women, and sexual harassment in the workplace.

    • Contact the Office of Human Rights if you feel you have been discriminated in employment, real estate, housing, or public accommodations, on the basis of race, gender identity, color, religious creed, genetic status, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
