Homes for All of the County's Veterans
Montgomery County Councilmember George Leventhal, who serves as chair of the Council’s Health and Human Services Committee, led a press conference on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at the Council Office Building in Rockville announcing that $500,000 in funding appropriated by the Council was used to house 18 homeless veterans and helped the County to provide housing for every identifiable homeless veteran.
