Sex Offender Registry
In Maryland, individuals convicted of various sex offenses—including sexual abuse of a minor, first- and second-degree rape, and other serious crimes—are legally required to register as sex offenders.
The Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office Special Victims Division (SVD), in collaboration with the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Division, Pedophile Section, actively enforces registry laws and holds sex offenders accountable.
Want to know if a registered sex offender lives near your home, your child’s school, or daycare? Use the official Maryland Sex Offender Registry to search by zip code, name, or interactive map.
