Liberty Mill Road Right of Way Disposition Public Hearing

Montgomery County, Maryland, announces that it proposes to sell approximately 7,100 square feet of County-owned property known as portions of the Liberty Mill Road Right of Way in Germantown to Kingsview Station Joint Venture (Developer) for $10.00.

The Developer proposes to create 61 lots for townhouses, including 12.5 percent Moderately Priced Dwelling Units, and two lots for up to 12,000 square feet of retail/service on a nearly ten-acre site at the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Clopper Road/MD 117 and Germantown Road/MD 118 in Germantown.

Request for Propsal - Community Engagement and Land Planning for 45-acre Site

On November 7, 2023, Montgomery County posted a Request for Proposal for Community Engagement and Land Planning for Jeremiah Park, a 45-acre County-owned site on Crabbs Branch Way in Derwood. The request is seeking an experienced consultant who can provide comprehensive community engagement and land planning services for a co-located bus depot and mixed-use development. The closing date for the solicitation was December 11, 2023 at 3:00 pm.

Our Mission

The Office of Planning and Development implements and manages the County’s redevelopment projects by creating opportunities for public-private partnerships that leverage County assets and facilitate Executive initiatives.
