US 29 Mobility & Reliability Study


The purpose of the US 29 Mobility and Reliability Study is to identify improvement(s) on US 29 to complement the investment in US 29 Flash and improve overall corridor travel time and reliability performance for all users. In addition, the study is developing recommendations to address pedestrian and bicycle access and safety for the stations between the Silver Spring Transit Center and Tech Road.

Thank you for your interest in the US 29 Mobility and Reliability Study.  As the study continues in the Summer of 2021, MCDOT will be contacting members of the US 29 BRT Corridor Advisory Committee to setup workshops to discuss the study and collect feedback. Information about these meetings as well as other engagement opportunities will be added to the website as they are scheduled.
