Olney Acres and Macduff Avenue Community Sidewalk Proposal

The Olney Acres and Macduff Avenue Community Sidewalk Project proposed the installation of a 5-foot-wide, ADA-compliant, concrete sidewalk along the following roadways in Olney:

  • the West side of Overwood Drive from Morningwood Drive to the property line between 17700 and 17701 Overwood Drive;
  • the South side of Prestwood Drive from Cashell Road to Overwood Drive;
  • the North side of Bettswood Drive from Cashell Road to Overwood Drive;
  • the South side of Macduff Avenue from the existing sidewalk to Cherry Valley Drive

Project Schedule

The Olney Acres and Macduff Avenue Proposal was issued to residents for comment on March 14, 2019 and was the subject of a Public Hearing on December 11, 2019. On May 26, 2020, the Hearing Officer’s Recommendations approving the sidewalk installation was signed by Director, Christopher Conklin. The Olney Acres and Macduff Avenue sidewalks were constructed in July and August 2020.
