The Parkside Estates Community Sidewalk Project proposes the installation of 5-foot-wide, ADA-compliant, concrete sidewalks with a variable 0 to 3-foot-wide greenspace along the following roadways in Derwood:
The Parkside Estates Community Sidewalk Proposal was approved with modification on August 1, 2022. Construction of the approved sidewalks is anticipated in late-August or early-September 2022.
Montgomery County invites you to attend an online public hearing to learn and testify about the Parkside Estates Community Sidewalk Proposal.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. to present the project scope, obtain community testimony, and answer questions. We request that you register beforehand. Please us the online registration form (click here) to register for the hearing . On the morning of April 20, 2022, you will receive an email, providing the Zoom meeting link, passcode, and connection instructions for signing in and participating using the internet-based virtual platform.
