    Call to have an attorney answer your questions about family law. Hotline services are free, anonymous and are available to low-income men and women. Hotline attorneys cannot represent you in court. Hotline is operated by a partnership with the Women’s Law Center and the Maryland Legal Aid Bureau.

    • Call Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to see if you are eligible for free legal services from a volunteer attorney.
    • Areas covered: absolute divorce, custody, name changes, adoption/guardianship, landlord/tenant (security deposits only), bankruptcy/debt collection matters, wills, powers of attorney, and in limited circumstances immigration and employment cases.
  • Montgomery County Bar Association- Lawyer Referral Service
