Montgomery County Public Libraries is excited to announce our first annual Local Author Book Showcase, coming Saturday, November 22nd, 2025. Join us for a celebration of books, storytelling, and community!

Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Event Highlights

  • Booksale sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD, Inc.
  • Author tables to meet and greet local writers
  • Passive activities, panels & discussions, and reading activities
  • Network with fellow writers and readers

Interested in participating as a local author next year?

Though our author selection is finished for this year, consider submitting an application for next year. Space is limited, and only selected authors will be contacted with next steps in the Fall of 2026.
