With all that is happening in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC) is continuing to work diligently for the benefit of the animals and people of Montgomery County. Despite being closed to the public for adoptions, many adoptable animals are being transferred to local rescue groups, who continue to search for forever homes for these animals. MCASAC has partnered with Friends of Montgomery County Animals (FMCA) to perform adoptions while the shelter remains closed to the public. Vist our COVID-19 Adoptions page for more information. MCASAC continues to accept foster applications; however, please expect delays in processing due to the large number of applications we currently have in process.
