Paint Giveaway
Our Hazardous Waste Program receives gallons and gallons of usable paint and stain products. The best way to dispose of these products is to use them up!
Paint and stain is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee colors. Use this paint at your own risk; recipients must sign a waiver.
For ContractorsContractors (or people that are believed to be contractors) must register for the Montgomery County Ecowise Program and pay for paint disposal each Wednesday between the hours of 1-5 p.m. Please check the website or contact 311 (240-777-0311) for more information.

- Enter the Transfer Station from Route 355 (Frederick Rd.) and proceed straight back into the facility.
- As you approach a small hill, stay to the right and follow the signs for "Recycling".
- At the top of the hill, go to the compound with a high, blue chain link fence and covered with a large roof. That is our Hazardous Waste Compound. Tell the attendant that you are there for free paint!
