Montgomery County is one of the most diverse communities in the nation. For 75 years, Montgomery County Public Libraries has been a place where everyone belongs, and that includes being a library system that reflects who we are today – multilingual, multicultural, and multigenerational. Since 1986, MCPL has purchased adult and children's books and periodicals in certain world languages to serve the county's diverse population. We are excited to provide you with a World Language collection that now includes 10 different languages, and continue our work in building spaces where ideas flourish, diverse voices are amplified, and community thrives.

Or explore our Little Pim series via our Launchpads (video media players), where you can learn basic English, French, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, and more – no need for an internet connection.
