Maryland Public Information Act
Fill out our MPIA Request Form to request copies of public records.
The Maryland Public Information Act (“MPIA”) grants the public a broad right of access to public records while protecting legitimate governmental interests and the privacy rights of individual citizens.
There is an hourly fee for the costs of preparing and producing records. The first two hours of production time are free.
