Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) 

• If you are experiencing a water or sewer emergency, you can report the emergency to WSSC by calling 301-206-4002, emailing emergencycallcenter@wsscwater.com, or using the WSSC mobile app. 
• If your water service has been shut off, follow these steps to resume water service. 
• If you received a larger-than-expected water bill, you can review the process and follow the steps to initiate a Bill Adjustment Request.
• To learn about ongoing construction and repair projects in your neighborhood, you can consult WSSC’s “In Your Neighborhood” Project Map.

Pepco 

• For non-emergency residential electrical service, call 202-833-7500. 
• To report a power outage or downed wire, visit Pepco’s Report an Outage page or call 1-877-737-2662. 
• If Pepco determines a downed wire is NOT an electrical wire, use this Montgomery County Office of Broadband Programs (OBP) complaint form to determine if the downed wire is a cable wire and OBP will assist with a resolution. 

Washington Gas 

• To report gas leaks or other emergencies, call the Washington Gas Emergency Leak Line at 1-844-927-4427.
