Seneca Park and Plumgar II Stormwater Ponds

As part of the County's effort to protect our waters, the Seneca Park and Plumgar II stormwater ponds were selected for upgrades, to help reduce stormwater pollution draining into our streams. The retrofit project for the Plumgar II stormwater pond (pond 11200, see map below) will bring the pond up to current design standards and help reduce stormwater pollution draining into our streams.  Design work on the Seneca Park Stormwater Pond (Pond 11119, see map below) is currently suspended.

A public meeting was held during the concept stage of the design process for residents to learn about the project and to provide input on the design.  The County has also been in contact with the HOA board and will provide updates as the project moves forward.

Seneca Park Pond

Pond 11119 is located east of Black Forest Way.

In order to provide maintenance and to protect our streams the County selected the stormwater pond (pond 11119) adjacent to the Seneca Park community for upgrade.  The retrofit project will convert the pond from a dry pond to a wet pond, bring it up to current design standards, and help reduce stormwater pollution draining into our streams.
