Clean water is a fundamental need for healthy human and natural communities. The County’s Water Supply and Wastewater program focuses attention on the policies and planning needed for an affordable, adequate, reliable, and safe drinking water supply to the county’s residents, businesses, and institutions.
The program further addresses those same needs with regard to wastewater disposal. Under the Department of Environmental Protection, the County’s planning and coordination for these vital services are addressed by through the Ten-Year Comprehensive Water Supply and Sewerage Systems Plan.
