Water Quality Protection Charge

 

The Water Quality Protection Charge (WQPC) is a part of Montgomery County property tax bills. The WQPC raises funds to improve the water quality of our streams and reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff.

 


September 30th is the Deadline to Reduce Your Charge!

 

To reduce your charge, applications for the following reductions must be received by Sept. 30 of the Tax Year the reduction will be applied:

  • Credit Applications
  • Hardship Reductions
  • Appeals for Incorrect Charges
  • Appeals to Combine Contiguous Properties
