MCER NO. 1-18AM:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGULATION
    Speed Humps
SUMMARY:  This regulation sets criteria for the consideration of speed humps and also sets forth the procedure for citizens of Montgomery County to request the installation of speed humps on eligible County Roads.  This regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 32-08.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 1-18AM was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective July 17, 2018.

MCER NO. 4-18:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION  AND
                            DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REGULATION
Water Quality Protection Charge
SUMMARY:  This regulation requires that final appealable decisions involving the Water Quality Protection Charge be issued by the Director of Finance and designates the Maryland Tax Court as the administrative agency with jurisdiction to hear appeals from those decisions.  This regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 12-16AM .
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 4-18 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 review process, effective July 17, 2018.

MCER NO. 6-18AM:  ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION
    Sworn Police Managers
SUMMARY:  This regulation amends Sections 33-1, 33-10, 33-11, 33-12, 33-13, 33-15, and 33-16 of COMAR to create a new Police Leadership Services (PLS) salary schedule to include in the sworn police managers’ schedule, including the practice of aligning salary increases with performance.  This regulation supersedes Executive Regulations 12-00AM, in part, 26-07, in part, and 16-13, in part.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 6-18AM was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 review process, effective July 17, 2018.
