Live Healthy – Health, Dental and Prescription Discounts

Since 2004, Montgomery County has been partnering with the National Association of Counties (NACo) to provide FREE prescription discount cards and residents have saved more than $32 million since the Montgomery RX program began.

We have now joined NACo's Live Healthy program—and joined dozens of other communities across the U.S. in helping our residents save money on the cost of dental and health care services.  The Live Healthy program continues to provide FREE prescription discount cards and has added a low-fee Dental Discount program that provides discounts on check-ups, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals and more.  The low-fee Health Discount program provides discounts on vision services, hearing aids and screenings, diabetes supplies and more.

The Prescription Discount program (Montgomery RX) is FREE.

  • Useful.  All commonly prescribed prescription drugs are covered, brand name and generic.
  • Automatic.  Your pharmacist activates the card the moment you present it.
  • Easy.  There are no claim forms to fill out and no annual fee to pay.
  • No limits.  Any member of your family can use the card. There are no limits on how many times you may use your card.

You can pick up a card at all Montgomery County libraries, regional service centers, senior centers.
