Business Opportunities

What Kind of Business Opportunities Are Available Through OES?

As part of its ongoing efforts to green the County’s operational portfolio, the DGS offers a variety of business and partnership opportunities related to energy and sustainability.

Montgomery County purchases of electricity and other energy attributes (e.g., renewable energy certificates) are covered by Chapter 11B of the County Code and the Montgomery County Electricity Procurement Regulations. These requests for energy proposals are handled directly by the Office of Energy and Sustainability (OES) and are not covered by the Office of Procurement.

Additional relevant public-private partnership opportunities or opportunities for green products or services may also be posted on this page. Please visit frequently to be aware of the latest information.

Current Opportunities

There are no open opportunities through OES at this time.

Many opportunities for green products or services, such as construction or consulting services, are routinely issued by the Montgomery County, Office of Procurement. However, any interested vendor should routinely visit the Office of Procurement Webpage for the latest opportunities. Prospective vendors should also register with the County’s Inter-Agency Central Vendor Registration System to be informed of new opportunities.

Request for Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Proposals (Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Public Private Partnership)
