We're so glad you're here! As an eligible employee of Montgomery County, you get all the great features and benefits of the Virgin Pulse program, and the ability to participate in challenges with your colleagues!

Participating in the program means you have the opportunity to earn up to $350 per year for FREE, plus a free fitness tracker, no costs involved! 

Here's what else you get as a Virgin Pulse member:

  • A FREE Max or Max Buzz activity tracker, mailed to you upon enrollment in the program
  • Opportunity to earn $350 per year for making healthy choices
  • HealthStations across the County where you can check your blood pressure, weight, and BMI
  • Nutrition program that syncs with MyFitnessPal where you receive points for tracking your nutrition 
  • Partner site, Zipongo, full of healthy recipes, grocery list builder, and more
  • Sync capability with partner devices such as the FitBit, Polar Heart Rate Monitor, and some smart watches
  • A secure, personalized member portal to easily manage all of your health & fitness information in one place
  • Up to four countywide step challenges per year.
  • A fun & easy platform to create and run your own personal challenges
  • Invitations for up to 10 family members to join Virgin Pulse (they don't receive the free fitness tracker or $350, but they can access other great resources!)
The Virgin Pulse program is free and open to Montgomery County employees who are eligible for health insurance through Montgomery County. You don't have to be enrolled in a health plan--just eligible to enroll. FOP members are ineligible to participate.

Virgin Pulse Health Stations are currently located at:
  • Executive Office Building, Office of Human Resources Lobby: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F  (101 Monroe St. Rockville, MD)
  • Public Safety Headquarters, Cafeteria: Access is limited to those who work in, or have access to, Public Safety Headquarters (100 Edison Park Dr. Gaithersburg, MD)
  • Occupational Medical Services, Waiting Room: 8 am - 4 pm, M-F (255 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD)
  • Fleet, Lounge: 7 am-4:30 pm M-F (16700 Crabbs Branch Way Derwood, MD)
  • MCCF Correctional Facility, Roll Call Room: Access is limited to DOCR employees only (22880 Whelan Lane Boyds, MD)
  • 1401 Rockville Pike, 3rd floor, Mail Room: Accessible to employees who work in the building 24/7; Accessible to employees who work outside of the building M-F, 8 am-4:30 pm - stop by the 3rd floor, 311 office to request access. (1401 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852)
  • Department of Liquor Control, Training Room, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F (200 Edison Park Dr. Gaithersburg, MD)
  • Mobile Health Station: Screening events are held periodically around the County
