Ken Hartman-Espada

Ken Hartman-Espada brings almost 30 years of dedicated public service to the County. His career began as the Legislative Senior Aide with the Office of Montgomery County Councilmember Betty Ann Krahnke and most recently as Director of Strategic Partnerships with the Office of the County Executive, where he provided advice and recommendations to the County Executive, Chief Administrative Officer, and senior County officials on local legislative and administrative matters. Before joining the Office of the County Executive in 2021, he served as the Director of Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Area for 13 years, where he focused on establishing effective partnerships with stakeholder organizations, identifying emerging trends, and led interagency efforts with local, State, and Federal officials to address service needs. Ken has a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Tech.
