MCEO NO. 220-08: DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - SSIC Property Line Adjustment. Whereas, on March 23, 2006, the County-owned Silver Spring Innovation Center property (SSIC) and Silver Spring Gateway Residential, L.L.C. (SSGR, LLC) owned property (SSGR), located at 8070 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring were recorded on a subdivision record plat for the Silver Spring Gateway project at Plat No. 23357 (the "Record Plat") as Parcel H and Parcel G respectively. Whereas, the County proposes to convey to SSGR an approximately on (1) foot by 20 square feet parcel that is part of the SSIC property to enable SSGR to correct an inconsistency between the SSGR condominium plats and the subdivision record plat for the SSIC Property and the SSGR Property. MCEO NO. 221-08: DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - Acceptance of Option Contract with Raymond and Margaret May Woodfield Road Extended, CIP No. 500151. The Option contract between Raymond and Margaret May and Montgomery County Maryland for the purchase of land and granting of an easement for the above-referenced project is hereby accepted. Contract obtained in the amount of $49,250.00. The County Attorney is hereby directed to take all necessary steps to acquire the land and easement. Effective Date: 09/11/08
MCEO NO. 222-08: DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - Public Hearing - Creation of an Access Restriction in the Old Derwood Community. A public hearing was held before the County Executive or his designee at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in the Executive Office Building Lobby Level Auditorium, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville, Maryland 20850 to consider a proposed Residential Traffic Management Plan for the Old Derwood Community. The proposed Residential Traffic Management Plan is intended to discourage the use of Yellowstone Way, Derwood Road, Derwood Street and Chieftan Avenue for non-local cut-through traffic during the AM and PM peak periods. After the aforesaid hearing, the Hearing Examiner shall report his findings and recommendations to the County Executive who shall issue a statement of his decision. Effective Date: 09/22/08
MCEO NO. 223-08: DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES - Street Acceptance of Roads for Maintenance MCDPS Permits Nos. 206470, 231654, 240452, 241147, 241148, certifies that construction of the following named streets has been completed in accordance with all applicable provisions of the Montgomery County Road Construction Code as specified in the above-captioned permit. The materials used in the construction of these streets were tested and found to be in compliance with County specifications.
