MCEO NO. 177-09: DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE - Fire Lane Establishment Order to post fire lane signs and paint curbs/pavement (painting optional) as identified below. When signs and paint work have been completed, this order will authorize the enforcement of this Fire Lane by appropriate police and fire officials. Location: Holy Cross Hospital, 1500 Forest Glen Road. Signs must be posted so that it is not possible to park a vehicle without being in sight of a sign. Signs may be no farther apart than 100 feet. MCEO NO. 179-09: DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE - Fire Lane Establishment Order to post fire lane signs and paint curbs/pavement (painting optional) as identified below. When signs and paint work have been completed, this order will authorize the enforcement of this Fire Lane by appropriate police and fire officials. Location: Burtonsville Town Square, 15600 - 15664 Old Columbia Pike. Signs must be posted so that it is not possible to park a vehicle without being in sight of a sign. Signs may be no further apart than 100 feet. Effective Date: 8/03/09
MCEO NO. 183-09: DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - McComas Avenue Proposed Sidewalk (CIP #506747). The County Executive finds that public interest requires the construction of a sidewalk to provide safe pedestrian travel along the south side of McComas Avenue from Drumm Avenue to Farragut Avenue, in Kensington, Maryland within the 13th Election District. The sidewalk will be five feet (5') wide and will conform to the ADA requirements. The total length of the sidewalk is approximately 1,600 linear feet. McComas Avenue is classified as a residential roadway and has a 50 foot public right-of-way. The existing roadway is 18 feet wide. There is approximately 18 feet of available public right-of-way on the south side of McComas Avenue. The greenspace located between the sidewalk and edge of pavement will vary from zero to four feet wide. Every effort will be made during the construction to cause minimal disturbance within the public right-of-way. A public hearing was conducted on the project at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, the Hearing Examiner recommended approval of the project. Total cost of the project, including engineering, site improvements and construction is $155,254.00. Unless otherwise approved by the County, expenditures authorized by this Order plus expenditures accrued to date for this project shall not exceed $155,254.00 and shall be made payable from funds appropriated for CIP No. 506747. MCEO NO. 194-09: DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - Acceptance of Option Contract with BVS Montrose, LLC Nebel Street Extended, CIP No. 500401. The Option Contract between BVS Montrose, LLC and Montgomery County, Maryland for the purchase of the property rights required for the above-referenced project is accepted. Contract obtained in the amount of $1,994,988.00. The County Attorney is hereby directed to take all necessary steps to acquire the property rights, including any improvements located within the area to be acquired. Effective Date: 9/22/09

Certifies that construction of the following named streets have been completed in accordance with all applicable provisions of the Montgomery County Road Construction Code as specified in the above-captioned permit. The materials used in the construction of these streets were tested and found to be in compliance with County specifications: Meadowsweet Court, Meadowsweet Drive, and Wiley Court.
