MCER NO. 24-06T: TEMPORARY DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION - Floodplains SUMMARY: This temporary regulation amends the existing floodplain regulations to ensure that the most recent effective Flood Insurance Studies and Flood Insurance Rate Maps adopted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency are in force in Montgomery County. This will ensure continued participation by the County in the National Flood Insurance Program and allow for Federal Funding for any disaster relief in the future. This temporary regulation supersedes 108-92 AM and became effective September 29, 2006. AUTHORIZATION: Montgomery County Code, 2004, Section 19-45.
