MCER NO. 14-09: ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION MCPR Amendments to Establish Procedures for the MSPB to Hear and Decide Appeals of Disciplinary Actions Filed by Volunteer Firefighters and Rescuers SUMMARY: This regulation amends Section 1, 33 and 35 of the MCPR to establish procedures for the Merit System Protection Board to hear and decide appeals of disciplinary actions filed by volunteer firefighters and rescuers. ACTION: Executive Regulation 14-09, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective November 3, 2009. AUTHORIZATION AND PROCEDURAL METHOD: Montgomery County Code, 2004, Section 21-7(c). Method 1. Email: [email protected] MCER NO. 16-09: ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION Amendments to OHR Severance Pay Plan Regulation to Allow GRIP Participants to Receive Severance Benefits SUMMARY: This regulation amends the Office of Human Resources Severance Pay Plan Regulations to allow participants in the Guaranteed Retirement Income Plan to receive severance benefits. ACTION: Executive Regulation 16-09, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective November 3, 2009.
