MCER NO. 14-13: PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION
Schedule of Fees for Permits, Licenses and Certifications – Method 2

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation was previously advertised in the September 1, 2013 Register.  This proposed regulation updates the reference to Executive Regulation 5-98, in section X. Miscellaneous B. to Executive Regulation 13-13 which changes the Automation Enhancement Fee from 10% to 5% and reduces the permit fee threshold for new mid-rise residential construction from $8,000,000 to $4,500,000.

MCER NO. 18-13: PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF POLICE REGULATION
                                School Bus Safety Cameras 

SUMMARY: The proposed regulation establishes the amount of the civil penalty for anyone who commits a violation recorded by a school bus safety camera.  The civil penalty is authorized by §21-706.1 of the Transportation Article of the Maryland Code.

                                Tree Canopy

SUMMARY: The proposed regulation establishes procedures for implementing the Tree Canopy Law, Chapter 55 of the Montgomery County Code as adopted by Bill No. 35-12.
