Water Quality Protection Charge
SUMMARY: This regulation amends Executive Regulation 6-02AM, which establishes the procedure to set rates for and implement a water quality protection charge to be applied to certain properties based on those properties’ contribution of runoff to the County’s stormwater management system.
ACTION: Executive Regulation, 17-12AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective April 30, 2013.

System Benefit Charges – Residential Waste Estimates
SUMMARY: This regulation establishes the calculated amount of solid waste generated per dwelling unit for single-family and multi-family dwellings.
ACTION: Executive Regulation, 3-13, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective July 1, 2013.
AUTHORIZATION AND PROCEDURAL METHOD: Montgomery County Code, 2004, Section 48-8 and 48-8A. Method 2.
