SUMMARY: Executive Regulation 25-08AM established staffing levels for fire and rescue apparatus and is being repealed because a proposed policy will replace it. The Fire Chief has determined that an updated MCFRS Policy would be an efficient and effective communication of procedures for operational apparatus staffing policies in the department.

Repeal of Executive Regulation 29-08AM - Fire Safety Code – Fire Department
SUMMARY: The provisions of Executive Regulation 29-08AM, which established the requirements for effective fire department apparatus and water supply in urban, suburban and rural setting in Montgomery County, are being incorporated into COMCOR 22.00.07 by Executive Regulation 8-16. In order to avoid duplication, Executive Regulation 29-08AM is being repealed.

Repeal of Executive Regulation 01-05AM – Medical Standards for Operational
SUMMARY: Executive Regulation 01-05AM requires all incumbent Montgomery County firefighters/rescuers, career as well as volunteer, and candidates applying for those positions, to successfully complete a medical evaluation that complies with the provisions of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1582, Standard on Comprehensive Occupational Medical Program for Fire Departments and is being repealed because a proposed policy will replace it. The Fire Chief has determined that an updated MCFRS Policy would be an efficient and effective communication of procedures.
