MCER NO. 27-16AM:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICE REGULATION
Schedule of Fees for Permits, Licenses and Certifications
SUMMARY: The Department of Permitting Services’ Fee Executive Regulation 27-16 includes a provision to step down the permit fee rate for new homes over 5000 square feet.  The provision expires June 30, 2017.  This regulation amends Executive Regulation 27-16 to eliminate that sunset date.

MCER NO. 6-17:  PROPOSED OFFICE OF COMMUNITY USE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES REGULATION
Before and After School Child Care Programs In Public Schools
SUMMARY: This regulation amends Executive Regulation 15-14AMV and implements Resolution No. 19-13, which was adopted by the Board of Education of Montgomery County on January 8, 2013.  Resolution No. 19-13 delegates to the Interagency Coordinating Board for the Community Use of Public facilities the authority to schedule the before and after school child care programs in Montgomery County Public School facilities.

MCER NO. 7-17:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE REGULATION
Requirements for Housing Initiative Program
SUMMARY: This regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 20-12 to establish the requirements for the Housing Initiative Program.  The proposed regulation revises definitions, clarifies program requirements, updates eligibility and conforms the regulation to match current departmental practice.

MCER NO. 8-17:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS REGULATION
Leases – Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
SUMMARY: This regulation establishes the minimum criteria for mandatory inclusion of a plain language summary in rental housing leases to comply with Section 29-27(w) (Contents of Lease) of the Montgomery County Code.

MCER NO. 9-17:  PROPOSED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION
Telework
SUMMARY: This regulation amends Section 15 of the Personnel Regulations to permit eligible employees to telework and to require the OHR Director to designate an employee as the County Telework Manager.  This regulation also outlines the responsibilities of the County Telework Manager.
