MCER NO.1-19: PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF POLICE REGULATION
Policies, Procedures and Fees for Alarm Businesses and Alarm Users
SUMMARY: The proposed regulation establishes procedures governing registration of all burglar alarm users; tracking and recording all alarm calls for service, billing and collecting false alarm response fees; acting as the initial hearing examiner for disputes involving response fees; and, licensing all alarm companies that conduct business in Montgomery County. The proposed regulation would supersede Executive Regulation 12-02.
