MCER NO. 25-19:   ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION
                          Personnel Regulations
 
SUMMARY:  This regulation amends the Personnel Regulations to include the newly created Office of Labor Relations.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 25-19 was approved by the County Council according to Method 1 review process, effective as of May 19, 2020.

MCER NO. 31-19:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION
                          Adoption of the 2018 IBC, IECC, IMC, IFGC, IRC, ISPSC and IEBC 
 

SUMMARY:  This regulation adopts the 2018 editions of the International Building Code (IBC), the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), the International Mechanical Code (IMC), the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), the International Residential Code (IRC), the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) and the International Existing Building Code (IEBC), with amendments.  It governs all buildings and structures within Montgomery County.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 31-19 was approved by the County Council according to Method 2 review process, effective as of May 20, 2020.

MCER NO. 5-20:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REGULATION
                        Systems Benefit Charges – Residential Waste Estimates
 
SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes the calculated amount of solid waste generated per dwelling unit for single-family and multi-family dwellingsy.
 
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 5-20 was approved by the County Council according to Method 2 review process, effective as of July 1, 2020.
 
AUTHORIZATION AND PROCEDURAL METHOD:  Montgomery County Code, 2014, Section 48-8, 48-8A.

MCER NO. 7-20:   ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION
                        Retroactive Extension of the Sunset Date of the Montgomery County Personnel Regulations
 
SUMMARY:  This regulation amends Section 2 of the Montgomery County Personnel Regulations to retroactively extend the sunset date of the Personnel Regulations until June 1, 2022.  This retroactive extension of the Regulations is necessary in order to give the Executive ample time to review and act upon a permanent amendment to the sunset date for the Personnel Regulations.
 
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 7-20 was approved by the County Council according to Method 1 review process, effective as of June 1, 2020.
