The Montgomery County Department of Police was founded on July 4th, 1922. The year 2022 was a centennial celebration year as the Department turned 100 years old. To celebrate this milestone, the Department held numerous events throughout the year. With private financial support from businesses, foundations, and individuals, the monies raised were used to assist with funding these events.
