Domestic Violence Coordinating Council
The Domestic Violence Coordinating Council (DVCC) is a board established by the Montgomery Council to reduce the incidence of domestic violence and create a safe community for families to live free of abuse. The work of the DVCC is divided among four committees: Education and Outreach, Victim Services, Legislation and Policy Planning, and Offender Program and Policy. The DVCC also hosts the annual Choose Respect Montgomery Conference, a teen dating violence prevention conference for teens, parents, educators and youth providers.
