Tile Program
This program is a part of our auto theft prevention initiative to locate one's vehicle in the event it is stolen. 
Appointments will be scheduled in the fall.

Wheel Locks We are still offering steering wheel locks for free for Montgomery County residents in the Wheaton District. Individuals interested in obtaining a wheel lock can email: ijeoma.enendu@montgomerycountymd.gov for more information and to schedule an appointment to pick up one. 
 
Fentanyl Test Kits
The Wheaton District partnered with the Department of Health and Human Services to distribute Fentanyl Test Kits for parents. The kits are available for free (two per household) and will only be issued to parents. If you are interested in obtaining the kits(s). Wheaton Community Safety Summit
The Wheaton Community Safety Summit is coming to the 4th District Station on September 7, 2023, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. 
This event brings the resources in our community to you. Our allied agencies will be on hand to provide information on protecting your family and safeguarding property. We will also have information on mental health and opioid misuse.
This is a family event- please bring your children, neighbors and friends! There will be music, games, facepainting, food trucks and giveaways for attendees!

Private Security Camera Incentive Program

The Montgomery County Department of Police is committed to working in partnership with the community and has launched a Police-Private Security Camera Incentive Program with the purpose of deterring and solving crime by incentivizing the installation od security cameras in geographic areas experiencing relatively high incidents of crime. Beginning November 15, 2023, an owner or tentant of a property that is used as a residence, business, or nonprofit organization located within an eligible priority area may apply.
